About Us

Reduce My Footprint is a carbon reduction programme set up by ABTA, The Travel Association, with the Association of Independent Tour Operators (AITO).

It is facilitated and operated by Carbon Offsets Ltd. 

Reduce My Footprint offers individuals and businesses information and advice on how to reduce carbon emissions, and the opportunity to offset residual carbon emissions through Certified Emission Reductions (CERs), Verified Emission Reductions (VERs), and projects managed by The Travel Foundation and TICOS (access to TICOS projects is limited to larger businesses).

Some of these projects offer delivered carbon reduction; others offer potential future reductions; most are linked to sustainable development programmes in tourism destinations.
